Kooza

Had the chance to take Katlynn to Kooza. It was amazing and we had great seats six rows from the stage. Cirque du soleil did not disappoint.

My goal at the moment....

My goal at the moment is to try and take a picture everyday of my daughter throughout the school year. So far we are off to great start.

Katlynn's yummy pie!

I have turned my daughter into a really good pie maker. This is her second apple pie she has made. Thank you Penzeys cinnamon for adding that extra yummy touch.

Tea party time

I have been meaning to post this for awhile now. I threw my first birthday party for my daughter this year as she turned 8. This would be the first party with a few of her friends and not just family. Turned out perfectly and all the girls had a blast. I had a lot of fun planning it and gathering ideas for crafts and games. Thanks to my sister Stacey for making the beautiful cupcake cake.

First pies made

I have made many cakes and cookies and the like but I had never made my own fruit pies before. Had I known they were this simple that would have been different a long time ago. Of course they were semi-homemade. Premade pie crust was used and fruit out of a can.
